Below you’ll find answers to general FAQs about the 7th Annual Worldwide Endometriosis March (EndoMarch), taking place in dozens of cities around the world on Saturday, March 28, 2020* (*with some exceptions). For the USA events, location-specific FAQs will also be available soon.

GENERAL FAQS

Q: How can I find out if there is an EndoMarch near me?
A: In the USA, there will be approximately 20 cities hosting an EndoMarch event, and all information will soon be posted on our website, www.endomarchnews.org. under the menu ENDOMARCH 2020.

Click here for information about EndoMarch events outside of the U.S.

Q: Do we need to register? And if so, how do we register?
A: For US-based events, registration is technically optional, as everyone is welcome, with or without registration. However, we do recommend that you register, as it helps all of the hosts with planning strategies, to ensure that enough supplies are ordered depending on the registration headcounts. It also allows the hosts to send updates about the event to you automatically.  Registration links will be posted soon, no later than October 1st, 2019. For International EndoMarch events, click here.

Q: Will event programs be available soon?
A: Yes, programs for each US-based EndoMarch event will be available soon and will include more details about the venues, speakers, walk routes, parking, & and other day-of event specifics.

Q: How far is the walk?
A: Each EndoMarch location has a slightly different walk route, so the distance varies somewhat for each event. However, the distance is usually about one mile round trip. We will have the specific walk route details for each location posted soon, along with information about wheelchair accessibility and other options for those with health conditions or other mobility concerns that make walking difficult.

Q: Are booth spaces available this year?
A: Not all locations will have booths (exhibitors/vendors/tablers) available. Check with the hosts of the location in which you are interested to see if they have availability.

Q: How else can I get involved?
A: There are other ways to get involved, besides attending one of the events. Click here for our updated list, which includes information about Advocacy Week (organizing delegations to meet with elected officials), sponsoring a school for endometriosis educational outreach, and Virtual EndoMarch online campaigns, just to name a few of the most popular programs.

Q: Are the USA-based EndoMarch events free?
A: Yes, for all USA events, all of the events are free and open to all.

Q: Can children attend EndoMarch events?
A: Yes, absolutely, bring the kids, strollers, sisters, husbands, moms, friends, & the whole family if you can! The EndoMarch events are designed to be as family-friendly as possible, and so everyone is welcome. However, please do note that, since most of the EndoMarch events occur at least partially outside, extreme weather conditions are always a possibility, especially for the East Coast. If extreme weather conditions occur, the event would be moved indoors to a pre-determined location.

Q: Are dogs allowed at the events?
A: In the USA, service dogs are always permitted. For events that occur entirely outside, usually all dogs are permitted, as long as they remain leashed. A safety muzzle may be advisable if your dog is spooked by crowds or loud noises.   For those events which have an indoor component, we generally do not advise to bring your non-service dogs, because the indoor facilities may have restrictions.

Q: Will the events be wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, we will have ADA-compliant accommodations for those using wheelchairs or with other mobility concerns. Many of the events occur outside, so wheelchair access is usually not a problem in those cases. For those events occurring indoors, we will provide information on each individual event page about wheelchair access and other ADA guidelines as we get closer to the event.

Q: Where can we purchase EndoMarch Official t-shirts, hoodies, or other awareness gear?
A: We will soon be posting information about awareness t-shirts and other gear to support the EndoMarch and endometriosis awareness. For Team International products to purchase to support EndoMarch events, click here to find a team near you to learn more.

Q: How can I apply to start my own team/host my own EndoMarch event?
A: In the USA, the application period for starting your own team/hosting your own DIY EndoMarch event is currently closed. However, you can click here to at least fill out the brief application, and then we will begin the review/approval process again in May 2020 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that applications must be approved first and that some restriction may apply.

Q: I live outside of the USA; are there EndoMarch events happening in my country?
